Hemangiomas and telangiectasias are caused by the accumulation of a large number of capillary blood vessels in the skin, resulting in an intense red coloration in the affected area. They usually appear at birth and tend to regress by adolescence. Larger hemangiomas may persist throughout life.
In the past, many methods were attempted for the treatment of hemangiomas, however without satisfactory results.
The Profile Center is equipped with the unique KTP Laser Aura, specifically designed for the treatment of telangiectasias. It is applied with absolute safety and extensive experience, even in children from the age of 4, with very good results. The telangiectasia is treated with the laser either entirely or in sections if it is extensive, and gradually disappears over the following 2–3 months. In some cases, repeating the procedure may be necessary to eliminate any residual traces.
