Breast volume reduction is the fastest body–image transformation. It relieves women from the physical discomfort caused by the weight of large breasts, improves their contour, restores symmetry, and brings them into proportion with the rest of the body.

In most cases, breast reduction surgery is performed for medical reasons and physical relief rather than purely for aesthetic improvement. Sagging breasts limit physical activity and cause physical strain. With increasing age and the onset of osteoporosis, the weight of the breasts can lead to kyphosis and spinal pain. Women with extremely large breasts may, in severe cases, become introverted, socially withdrawn, and depressed. It has also been proven that reducing breast volume lowers the risk of developing breast cancer, as smaller breasts are easier and safer to examine both through imaging and palpation during annual check-ups.
SURGICAL PROCEDURE:
Incisions are made around the nipple. As much skin and fat as necessary are removed to achieve the desired size and shape. The breast is then supported on the chest wall.
SURGERY RESULTS:
The nipple does not lose its sensitivity, nor does the breast lose its functionality.
The procedure does not affect breastfeeding.
Mammography screening can be performed normally.
DURATION OF RESULTS:
The duration of the results is long-lasting but depends on potential future pregnancies, weight fluctuations, and skin elasticity.
Features:
Duration of surgery: 3 hours
Anesthesia: General
Hospital stay: 24 hours
Return to daily activities: 3–4 days
